Garcelle Beauvais is stepping away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons on the Bravo reality series.
The television personality and actress confirmed her exit via a video message on social media, where she reflected on her time on the show and expressed gratitude to viewers, the production team, and her fellow cast members.
In a short video message, Garcelle thanked fans for their support throughout her journey on the show. She reflected on both the highs and lows, saying it had been a “wild ride” filled with both “amazing things” and “hard things.”
Her departure comes at a time when her personal and professional life is full—she noted that her twin sons are heading into their final year of high school, and she wants to be present for those moments. Garcelle also hinted that she has new creative ventures on the horizon, with projects currently in development.
While she’s stepping back from her full-time role, Garcelle teased the possibility of making guest appearances in the future:
“Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime — the door will always be open, so you never know… I might pop back in sometime.”
She also expressed gratitude toward the production team, her fellow cast members, and the fans who embraced her throughout her five-season run—a run that marked her as the first Black Housewife in Beverly Hills franchise history.
Garcelle ended her video with a smile, saying, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So, see you later.”
Beauvais’ departure will likely impact the dynamic heading into the next season. Bravo has not yet confirmed any new additions to the cast or how the ensemble will be adjusted moving forward.

Sutton will be by herself now!!! Only one who defended her was Garcelle. Maybe that’s why Garcelle was trying to get Kyle on Sutton side. We’ll IF Jennifer Tilley comes full-time don’t see her sticking up for Sutton like Garcelle did. Oh can’t wait this season Sutton was trying to be mean girl next season Sutton will be alone.
